Monte's answer for retiring at 65: savings last to 95 in 66 of every 100 futures, with a 100-dot grid and the exact count of 6,625 of 10,000
What it does

Made for a money decision you want to test first.

Monte answers the money question you’re actually asking. Tell it what is changing, in your own numbers, and it runs 10,000 simulations of your future: markets that rise and fall, careers that land or don’t, and the bad early years that sink plans. Then it says how often your plan holds, and shows you the futures that don’t.

Monte is an educational simulator, not financial advice. Every answer says what it assumes and what it leaves out. Android is in testing.

01

Ask what's changing

Time off, a lost job, a baby, a new career, rent or buy, retiring early or on time. Ask in your own numbers.

02

One clear count

How often your plan holds out of 100, with the exact number of the 10,000 futures behind it.

03

The futures that run out

Watch the futures play out year by year, including the ones that run short, and the same plan under weaker and stronger markets.

04

Build your own plan

A home, a child, a raise that might come, a crash, a pension. Tie changes together and see them play out at once.

05

Private by design

No account, no ads, no analytics. Plans stay encrypted on your phone. Every formula and assumption is shown with its source.

Questions

Monte, answered.

Can I afford to take a year off work?

Monte's "Can I take time off?" question runs a break from work through 10,000 simulated futures of your own numbers and shows how often your savings still hold, now and after the break.

How can I compare renting and buying a home?

Monte's "Rent or buy?" question compares buying against staying a renter over the years you'd hold the home, inside the rest of your plan, across 10,000 simulated futures.

How long would my savings last if I lost my job?

Monte's "What if my pay stops?" question shows how long your savings carry you, however long work takes to come back, across 10,000 simulated futures of your own numbers.

What does a 66% success rate actually mean?

It means the plan held in 66 of every 100 simulated futures and ran short in the other 34; Monte shows that count, the exact share of its 10,000 futures, and the futures that run out.

Is Monte free?

Yes: every question is answered across 10,000 futures for free, and Monte Premium ($7.99 a month, $39.99 a year or $99.99 once) adds what it would take to reach 9 in 10 futures, Deep Simulation and larger own plans.

Does Monte need an account or my bank login?

No: there is no account, no bank link, no ads and no analytics, plans stay encrypted on your phone, and the App Store lists Monte as Data Not Collected.
